Mindlabz ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect when you use Mindlabz, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Service, including:

• Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture via Google OAuth.
• User Content: Text, files, PDFs, and notes you submit to Mindlabz, as well as the AI-generated responses, stored to provide your library and chat history.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and timestamps — collected automatically to monitor performance and detect abuse.
• Credit Activity: Records of daily credit usage tied to your account to enforce fair usage limits.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Mindlabz Service and your personal knowledge library.
• Process your content through AI models to generate summaries, answers, and insights.
• Maintain your conversation and save history across sessions and devices.
• Monitor and enforce daily credit limits and detect fraudulent or abusive activity.
• Improve the quality, safety, and performance of our AI features and overall experience.
• Send you essential service communications (e.g. credit resets, account notices) — no marketing emails without consent.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• AI Providers: Your content and prompts are sent to third-party AI model providers (such as Google Gemini) solely to generate responses. These providers operate under strict data processing agreements and may not use your data to train their models.
• Infrastructure Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage, and Render for backend hosting. These services handle your data only to operate Mindlabz.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mindlabz or its users.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. All data is stored in secure cloud databases (Firebase Firestore) and transmitted using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your saved content and chat history directly within the Mindlabz dashboard at any time.

To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
